TUI cancels Florida holidays until end of April

TUI holidays to Florida will not resume until May at the earliest after cancelling more trips to the Sunshine state.

The operator said its programme will be shelved up to and including 30 April, with the resumption date for operations under constant review.

Customers are being contacted in departure date order and given the option of booking another trip 'with an incentive' or cancelling and receiving a refund.

A message on its website says: "Due to the impacts of Covid-19 and restrictions in place, we've unfortunately had to cancel all TUI holidays to Florida departing up to and including 30 April 2021.

"We understand holidays to Florida are an exciting and special time for families, and whilst the situation is out of our control, we'd like to apologise for the disappointment this may cause.

"We will continue to review our Florida programme in line with updated travel advice."

TUI has cancelled most other packages until February 28, although holidays to Goa, La Palma, Phuket and The Gambia have been axed until 30 April.

Meanwhile, Marella Cruise in Europe and the Caribbean have been cancelled until 31 March and 30 April respectively.
